Great flavor and easy to grow. This deep-red fruit is everything you want in a dessert apple — sweet, juicy, and firm. Also great for baking. Tree is ideal for northern gardens! Disease-resistant to scab, fire blight, and powdery mildew. Fruit stores up to nine months. Originates in Illinois circa 1968. Cold hardy. Ripens in mid-October.
